Duane Thomas Kloepping

Duane Thomas Kloepping Age 46, passed away suddenly from heart failure Thursday, December 28, 2017. Duane was born March 11, 1971 in Freeport, IL, the son of Thomas Kloepping and Larry Bilgri Ellison. He graduated Freeport High and worked at Lender Tree Service, Park Hills Nursing Home, and Wal-mart. He was married to Sara (Kloepping) DeWall for ten years and had two children Tanika (25) and Tyler (21). He enjoyed watching his children at Special Olympic events and he always had a smile on his face. He is survived by his two children, Tanika & Tyler Kloepping (Freeport, IL), father Tom Kloepping (wife Deb) (Lena, IL) and mother Larry Bilgri Ellison (husband Dave) (Lena, IL), brothers: Paul Kloepping (wife Patricia, nieces Michaella, Paisley & Parker) (Leonardtown, MD), Joshua Kloepping & Lauren Franecki (Scottsdale, AZ), sister Jennifer Kloepping & Jesse Peters (nieces Julia & Cieara)(Freeport, IL) and step-brothers Shawn Bilgri (wife Fabiola & niece Paulina) (Madison, WI), and Justin Bilgri (wife Michelle, nephews Joey & Jake ) (Dallas, TX). And his Grandparents: Wayne Long (Elizabeth) and Sylvia Nelson (Freeport) and various Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Duane was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Flo & Lee Kloepping and maternal grandfather, Dale V Nelson. A memorial fund for Salvation Army has been established in his name. A memorial service for Mr. Kloepping will be held Wed, January 3, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home.
