Douglas C. Schneiderman

Douglas "Doug" Schneiderman, 62, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2016 at OSF St. Anthony Hospital. He was born February 15, 1954 in Freeport, IL to Harold and Mable (Neberman) Schneiderman. He graduated from Freeport High School in 1972. Doug was an exceptional athlete, playing basketball and baseball in high school and basketball at Highland Community College. He also played fast pitch softball for many years. He worked for the Illinois Central Railroad, and later established his own D&S Lawn Care business. Doug loved NASCAR, the Packers and camping. Doug is survived by his brother, Jerry (Pat) Schneiderman, nieces, Amy (Scott) Trimble, Kristin (Ben) Bayle, and nephews, Daniel Schneiderman and David(Connie) Rohlman, brother-in-law Dennis (Betsy) Endress and nephew Thomas Endress. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Susan. Cremation rites have been accorded. A gathering will be held on Wednesday September 14, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home.
