Dorothy Annette Henry

Dorothy Annette Henry, 98, of Forreston, died Tuesday May 10, 2016 in her home. She was born March 8, 1918 in Forreston, IL, the daughter of Cornelius and Anna Van Lesson. She married Floyd Henry; he died in 1966. Dorothy worked at the Polo Veterinary Clinic. She was a member of The Eastern Star. She was an active bridge player. She loved her family very much. Dorothy is survived by her son Larry (Cheryl) Henry; two daughters Sharon (Larry) Moring and Connie Pontnack and family; her grandchildren Steve (Alice) Henry, Tami Henry, Kathy (Jon) Butcher, Kevin Moring, Steve (Amy) Moring, and Crystal Henry; her great-grandchildren Collin Lamberston, Lindsey (Ryan) Wildes, Tawney (Shawn) Dunn, Garrett (Kelcy) Moring, Caleb Moring, and Emily and Jonny Butcher; great-great-grandchildren Landon and Kaylee Wildes, Rileigh and Molly Moring, and Camden Dunn due in September of 2016. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Cornelius and Anna Van Lesson; her husband Floyd Henry; her sister Jannetta Miller; her son Don Henry; and her grandson Tim Henry. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday May 14, 20116 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Forreston, IL, (203 Third Ave. Forreston, IL) with Rev. David Poust officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Forreston. Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery.
