Donna L. Mudore

Donna L. Mudore, 70, of Forreston, died Saturday March 25, 2017 in her home. Donna was born January 1, 1947 in Freeport, the daughter of Leroy and Virginia (Thruman) Veer. She married Gregg L. Mudore in Freeport on March 11, 2004. Donna was a nurse for 26 years before retiring. She enjoyed being outside, fishing, and camping. She was known by many as "Grandma Donna". Surviving are her husband, Gregg Mudore; two sons, Michael "Mickey" (Leela) Curran and Patrick (Melissa) Curran; daughters, Diana "Dee" (Steve) Kuhlemeier of Freeport, Denise Hamilton (Tom Rhode) of Forreston, and Lisa (Paul) Bengston of Eden Prairie, MN., Kacey (Ryan Seal) Mudore of Freeport and Rochelle (Roy) Baker of Freeport; brother, Daryl (Katie) Moore of Freeport; two sisters, Diana (Paul) Euler and Susan (Darrin Meighen) Kempthorne; grandchildren, Tanya, Daniel, Amanda, Jason, Jarrod, Shayna, Aaidon, Cole, Cameron, Karissa, Quinn, Danny, Rick, Patrick, Mason, Madaline, Isiah, Isabella, and Israel. Also surviving are many great grandchildren. Memorial services will be 5:00 p.m. Thursday March 30, 2017 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home, Freeport. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at Burke Tubbs, Freeport. A memorial has been established in her memory.
