Donna L. Blair

Donna L. Blair, 62, of Freeport, died Thursday, August 3, 2017 at FHN Memorial Hospital. She was born August 5, 1954 in El Dorado, Kansas the daughter of Harold and Carol (Bolender) Meier. Donna married David Blair on September 24, 1999 in Freeport. She was employed at Furst-McNess for 20 years and later on at Cub Foods. Donna enjoyed crosswords puzzles, picture puzzles, playing cards and shopping. Surviving are her husband, David Blair of Freeport; daughter, Sheri (Ryan) Dyson of Freeport; three sisters, including her twin sister Diana (Greg) Clark of Monticello, WI, Cathy (Tom) Diddens of Freeport and Patricia Burnett (Tom Abel) of Le Claire, IA; one granddaughter, Cassidy Challenger (Brandon Reese) of Lanark, IL; five nephews; and one niece. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, William Meier. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday August 10, 2017 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home with a visitation from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. There will also be a visitation Wednesday August 9, 2017 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home from 4:00-6:00 P.M. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
