Donna K. Olsen

Donna Kay Olsen, 77, of Pecatonica, passed away Thursday August 22, 2024 in her home. She was born April 26, 1947 in Popular Bluff, MO, the daughter of Lester and Billie (Miller) Tackett. Donna married Paul Olsen June 18, 1965 in Monroe, WI. Donna worked in the Harlem High School cafeteria. She was a member of Cedarville Baptist Church. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, and art.

Donna is survived by her husband, Paul Olsen of Pecatonica, IL; daughter, Angela (Lowell) Larson of East Bethel, MN; two brothers, Michael (Yusoko) Tackett and Kenneth (Mary) Tackett; three sisters, Susie Hendricks, Linda (William) Cheung, and Mary Oberiether; three grandchildren, Allen, Steven, and Amber Larson; and three great-grandchildren.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Diane.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday August 30, 2024 at Cedarville Baptist Church with Pastor Jason Pankonin officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in Willwood Cemetery, Rockford, IL.
