Donald E. Deboer

Donald E. DeBoer, 78, of Freeport, died Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at FHN Memorial Hospital. Born on June 10, 1937 in Freeport, the son of Evelyn Dame. Mr. DeBoer worked for GTE phone company for over 30 years. He was a member of the Eagles Club. Survivors include two sons, Mike (Stacie) Schnierla of Freeport and Rob (Shabrina Russell) DeBoer of Freeport; one datugher Ernestine (Tom) Parkos of Freeport; one sister, Mary (Don) Maves of Freeport; six grandchildren, Kylee and Ashtyn Parkos, Shaley Schnierla, Ryan Tailey, Kate Ottenhausen and Heidi Ottenhausen; his special friend Sharon Ritter and his dog Bailey.
