Dolores M. Kneller

Dolores M. Kneller, 78, of Freeport died Friday, January 23, 2015 at Freeport Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. Dolores was born on October 28, 1936 in Freeport, the daughter of Lyle and Dorothy (Evers) Burton. Dolores married Paul Kneller on October 3, 1975 in Freeport. Mr. Kneller passed away on January 22, 2012. Dolores was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School and sung in the Choir. Dolores worked at Burgess Battery. Surviving are nephew, James Burrington; cousin, Nancy McMurray; two sisters-in-laws, Dolores Rackow of Freeport and Joyce Flannery of Orangeville. Also surviving are two great nephews, great niece, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Paul; and two sisters, Lorraine Burrington and Judy Barton. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday January 26, 2015 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Rev. Stephen Precht will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
