Dolores Arlene Toman

Dolores Arlene Toman, 85, of Freeport, died Tuesday June 9, 2020 in her home surrounded by family. Dolores was born June 29, 1934 in De Smet, South Dakota, the daughter of Henry and Luella (Palmer) Holverson. She married Bernard "Bernie" Toman on May 5, 1983 in Lena, Illinois. Dolores worked in manufacturing and as a school bus driver and attendant for several school districts. She enjoyed raising horses, living on the family farm, working outside, listening to Alan Jackson songs, NASCAR, and following the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs. Surviving are children, Dwight Henson; and his children, Mandy Meyer and Michele Minder; daughter Davon Trimble's friend Tonda Stouffe, Denea (Stephen) Taylor and their daughter, Hannah Taylor; Dulari Toman and her son, Timmy Hausch; and Deleana (Terry) Atz and their children, Kirsti (Geoff)Williams; Heath Atz, Hallie Atz, and Graham Atz; nephew, Bill Holverson; two nieces, Deanne Holverson and Dalynn Holverson; sister-in-law, Pat Holverson; also surviving are eleven great-grandchildren. Dolores was preceded in death her parents, daughter, Davon Trimble; son, Dwayn Trimble; and brother, Dallas Holverson. Funeral services will be June 13, 2020 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
