Dina C. Malstaff

Dina C. Malstaff, 102, of Freeport, IL passed away July 25, 2023 at FHN Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. She was born December 2, 1920 in Logansport, IN to Frank and Clelia (Marzotto) Costelluccio. On May 2, 1943 she married Leonard A. Malstaff in Mishawaka, IN. Leonard passed away March 29, 2011. Dina was employed at Honeywell for 40 years and retired in 1979. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching the news, and exercising, which included walking 30 minutes every day and riding her stationary bike at the age of 102. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her two sons Ronald (Donna) Malstaff of Winnebago, IL and Gary (Christine) Malstaff of Mundelein, IL; two grandchildren Lisa (John) Serafini of Freeport, IL and Ryan Malstaff of San Diego, CA; and two great-grandchildren Jacob and Jordan Malstaff of San Diego, CA.

Preceding Dina in death are her parents, husband, and three sisters Rose, Marie, and Anita.

Private family services will be held. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park in Granger, IN. A memorial has been established in her memory.
