Delores M. Frank

Delores M. Frank, 87, of Freeport died Thursday April 5, 2012 in Stephenson Nursing Center. She was born on July 29, 1924 in Stephenson County, Il, the daughter of Robert and Dorothy (Kohl) Cheyney She married LaVan A. Frank on November 21, 1939 . He died October 31, 1980. Mrs. Frank was employed by Crum and Forrester Insurance Company. She loved to travel and attend church. Mrs. Frank is survived by her grandchildren; Teresa (Mike) Spitzer, Rodney Mullen, Tami (Larry) Ritter, Kimberly Owen and Christine (Mike) Hedrick, Christina Williams, Mark Linkfield, and Scott Linkfield; Eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, LaVan A. Frank, two daughters Barbara Mullen and Diane Linkfield, and one grandchild Kelly Linkfield. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday April 7, 2012 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport, with Rev. Tom McClellan officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00P.M. until time of service.
