Delilah Marie Cleveland

Delilah Marie Cleveland affectionately known as "Dee Dee" was born on May 16, 1974 to Woodrow Stacey who preceded her in death, and Lorrine Cleveland. Dee Dee was the second oldest of four children. She attended Crispus Attucks Elementary School, and Du' Sable High School. Dee Dee did various amounts of work from being the fast food Queen, to devolving and admired passion for factory work. Her drive and determination made her great at her skill. She moved to Freeport, IL to give her children a better life. She was an amazing loving and fun mother, sister, cousin, aunt, grandmother, niece, and friend. She had a beautiful smile and loving heart that would light up the room. Dee Dee enjoyed playing softball, cooking, and being around family. Dee Dee was preceded in death by her great-grandmother Evelyn Walker, brother Johnelle Stacey, sister Annette Stacey, and cousin Brodie Trotter. On March 6, 2016 with her two sons Darryl (Kobe) and Jonathan (Jon-Jon) made her transition. Delilah leaves many fond memories to be cherished by two sons John and Sylvester White, two daughters Mikeatta Smith and Dasianna Thompson, five sisters Angela Jackson, Barbara Stacey, Anita Stacey, Raven White, and Betty, four brothers Jessie, James, and Woodrow Stacey, and Edward Cleveland, grandmother Lizzie Mae Stacey, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, grandchildren, relatives, and friends.
