Debra M. Stukenberg

Debra M. Stukenberg, 62, of Freeport died Thursday, October 9, 2014 at University Hospital, Madison, WI. She was born on May 26, 1952 in Freeport, the daughter of Paul and M. Jeannette (Appell) Budenz. Debra had her own home decorator business with her sister Jennifer. She married Edward Stukenberg on May 26, 1973, in Rockton, IL She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. Debra was a 1970 graduate of Freeport High School. She enjoyed rides in her convertible, antiquing and going to flee markets. Family was important part of her life, especially her grandchildren. Debra passion was the Kids, Coats and Clothes program, which she founded. Survivors include her husband; Ed of Freeport, two daughters; Lora (Dale) Jones of Belvidere, IL and Kirsten (Scott) Hundertmark of Eldridge, IA; two brothers; William (Cheryl) Budenz of Freeport and Jon Budenz of Freeport; two sisters Jennifer (Don) Gennusa of Freeport and Jule (Dan) Brooks of Freeport; three grandchildren; Tristen, Soren and Chloe. Preceded in death by her parents. Cremation rites were accorded. Memorial services will be Monday, October 20, 11 a.m. at Faith United Methodist Church. Rev. John Wesley Lee will officiate.
