DeAndre (D-Man) Barry Lamonte Piggue of Freeport, IL departed his earthly life on Sunday October 28, 2012. DeAndre was born on November 30, 1990 in Freeport, Il, the son of Veronica Resha Piggue and Donald Sullivan. DeAndre graduated from Freeport Senior High School in June 2009 where he participated in basketball, track, and football. DeAndre went to State on Friday May 21, 2004 representing the 7th grade class of Freeport Junior High and brought home a gold medal in the shot put. He was employed at Honeywell and UPS in Freeport, IL. DeAndre was a wonderful father who loved spending time with his daughters, and assisting his mother and father with his younger siblings. He enjoyed the many family gatherings held at his grandparents and great-grandparents homes; and writing songs and rap music. DeAndre was a very big man of few words, a large heart and great loyalty, love and admiration for his family. He will definitely be missed. DeAndre leaves to cherish his memories: his mother Veronica Resha Piggue; his father Donald (Penny) Sullivan; daughters Da'™Nesiyah Brielle Lanae Piggue and Dre'™yah Faye Nicole Reshay Piggue; his brothers Cortez Brown, Deontae Swanigan, Donald Sullivan, Jr., and Donavan Sullivan; maternal grandparents David and Patricia (Piggue) Ellis, Howard and Michelle Shirley; paternal grandparents Henry and Lovely Sullivan; his special uncle Roderick (Yetta) Piggue; special friend and mother of his daughters, Tiffany Babcock ;and also a host of uncles, aunts, great uncles and great aunts, cousins, and friends. DeAndre was preceded in death by his great-grandparents James and Maudie (Crump) Piggue; one aunt Algerice (Ford) Horde; and a special cousin Jimmy Peabo Whitehead. His going home celebration will be held Saturday November 3, 2012 at Mt. Calvary Church of God and Christ, 420 Challenge Street, Freeport, IL at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Washington will be host pastor, Elder Issac Jackson will be officiating and Elder Deonte Collier will be conducting the Eulogy. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service.
