David Roskam

David Roskam, 81, of Freeport, died Tuesday May 8, 2018 at FHN Memorial Hospital. He was born October 10, 1936 in Freeport, IL, the son of Albert and Ella (Lubbers) Roskam. He married Judith Nesemeier June 29, 2002. David worked for Anderson Packaging, Newell, Micro-Switch, and Bocker Automotive. He was a member of Park Hills Evangelical Free Church. He was an avid Highland Cougar and Chicago Cub fan. David is survived by his wife Judith Roskam; three daughters, Laurie, Lisa, and Deb; three stepsons, Eric, Alex, and Jason; stepdaughter, Amy; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two nieces, Susan and Marilee; and nephew, Steve. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald; and sister, Dorothy. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday May 12, 2018 at Park Hills Evangelical Free Church with Rev. Larry Elliot officiating. Visitation will be from 3-6:00 P.M. Friday at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
