David Criddle

David Criddle, 74, of Freeport, died on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Stephenson Nursing Center. He was born on January 16, 1940 in Freeport, the son of Lyle and Isabelle (Sullivan) Criddle. David was a graduate of Freeport High class of 1958 He served in the U.S. Navy from 1958-1962. David was a painter and worked at Micro Switch. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He is survived by a sister, Sandy Kortemeier of Freeport; one nephew, Joel Kortemeier of Winnebago also great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents and one nephew, Brian. Memorial service will be Thursday 6:30 p.m. at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home. Father Robert Comacho will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the time of service at Burke-Tubbs.
