Darryl D'Angelo Cleveland was born April 1, 1999 to Delilah Cleveland and Darryl Thompson. Darryl attended Center Elementary School, and graduated from West Middle School in 2014. Darryl was a loving, caring person and has a smile that would melt the heart of anyone he met. Darryl was a sophomore at F.H.S. where he was on the varsity basketball team; he played with the goal to be the next Kobe Bryant. He attended Faith Temple C.O.G.I.C. where he participated in the Men of Standards young men group. Darryl was preceded in death by his great-great grandmother Alre Bryant, grandfather Woodrow Stacey, and cousin Karen Thompson. On March 6, 2016 with his mother Delilah and brother Jonathan, Darryl made his transition. He leaves great memories to be cherished by his father Darryl Thompson, paternal grandmother Addie Thompson of Chicago, IL, three brothers Darrion Thompson, and John and Sylvester White of Freeport, three sisters Dasianne and Mikeatta Smith of Freeport, IL, and Caiome of Rockford, IL, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends. Kobe- The smile, that smile that started our day! Our house is no longer a home without you! We didn't see this coming, but god assured us that you got your wings! You will be forever in our hearts.........Ball all day in Paradise.
