Darrel Alvin Kraft

Darrel Alvin Kraft, 61, of Freeport, died Tuesday June 23, 2015 in his home. Darrel was born on August 7, 1953 in Freeport, the son of Alvin and Darlene (Meeks) Kraft. Darrel worked at Modern Plating then Swiss Colony. Darrel enjoyed mowing lawns, visiting with friends at coffee shops, and spending time with his nieces and nephews. Surviving are his parents, Alvin "Sam" and Pat ( Eggemeier) Kraft; son, Jered D. Kraft; three brothers, Ron (Suzanne) Kraft of Freeport, Randy (Susan) Kraft of Brodhead, Wisconsin, and Paul (Margaret) Kraft of Freeport; three sisters, Karen Haas of Freeport, Carla (Mike) Donaldson of Ridott, and Paula Kraft of Freeport. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Meeks Kraft; sister, Sheila Ann Kraft; maternal and paternal grandparents, and two nephews. Memorial services will be 5:00 p.m. Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Darrel's memory.
