Daniel N. Pool

Daniel N. Pool, 38, of Rockford, died Sunday June 24, 2012 in Rockford. Daniel was born on May 21, 1974 in Rockford the son of Charles Pool and Beverly Ledbetter. Daniel served for the United States Marines from 1992-1998. He worked at Alma Nelson in Rockford. He loved his kids very much. He enjoyed spending time outdoors especially riding his bike and going snowboarding. Daniel was a big Chicago Bear fan. Survivors include his father; Charles (Rita) Pool of Freeport, mother; Beverly (Ralph) Clapper of Wingo, KY., son; Alex Pool of Milledgeville, two daughters; Lydia Pool of Lena and Elyse Pool of Rockford. Also surviving are two brothers; Jesse (Kim) Pool of South Fulton, TN., and Nick Pool of Freeport. Dan was preceded in death by his grandparents and sister Mellisa. Funeral services will be Friday 11:00 A.M. at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport with Fermin Haro officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service.
