Daniel J. Bridgeland

Daniel J. Bridgeland, 32, of Manchester, New Hampshire and former Freeport resident died July 4 in Manchester. He was born September 14, 1980 in Urbana, Illinois the son of Charles and Cheryl (Watts) Bridgeland. Daniel moved to New Hampshire in 2008 to be part of the Free State Project. He leaves behind a large circle of friends in the Manchester Free State Project. He was employed as a Medical Equipment Technician. Daniel is survived by his parents of Freeport. His brother, Samuel Bridgeland of Chicago. Two sisters; Hannah (Brandon) Lamm of Freeport and Mary Bridgeland. His paternal grandfather, James Bridgeland of Winnebago and his maternal grandfather, Roger Watts of North Sutton, New Hampshire. Daniel was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandmothers and his brother David. A memorial service for Daniel will be held Friday, July 26, at 11:00 A.M. at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home 504 N, Walnut Ave. Freeport, Illinois. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until time of service at Burke-Tubbs. Burial will be in Middle Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery at a later date.
