Dakota M. Pommerening

Dakota Michael Pommerening, died suddenly and unexpectedly in Freeport, IL on 05/01/2024 at the age of 28. Dakota was born in Durant, Oklahoma, on May 14,1995 to Audrey Pommerening and Shannon Bays. He went to Atoka High school.

He was a sweet, loving, wildly adventurous daredevil. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, and uncle. Was loved by many others. He loved “Mary Jane” and spending time with his family. He was extremely caring and loved to help others in time of need. He was a strong, independent, hardworking young man who loved the work he did and the job he did.

He was Preceded in death by his dad Shannon Lynn Bays, his grandmother Betty Cole, grandmother Tonya twitty, Audrey Halen-willber Pommerening, Theradore Blackwood and various great aunts and great uncles.

He is survived by his mother Audrey Pommerening, his sisters Alyxis and Skyla Pommerening. Grandpa Dave and Melanie Pommerening, Aunt Misty Pommerening and her son J’son Williamson and her daughter Jesceah and her son., Uncle Chris and Stephanie Pommerenig and their daughter Cora Pommerening, and various great aunts, uncles and cousins.

The funeral is pending and It is a Family Private Event.
