Dabrice Deoni Davis

Dabrice Davis, 21, of Sterling, and a former Freeport resident died Monday September 24, 2012 at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center in Peoria, IL. Dabrice was born June 4, 1991, in St. Paul, Minnesota, the son of Herbert Hightower and Lucy Davis. Dabrice enjoyed playing basketball and listening to music. Dabrice is survived by his father, Herbert Hightower and mother, Lucy Davis, five brothers; Michael Hightower, Herbert Hightower III, Cory Hightower, Domnique Lee and Herman Jackson. Also surviving is one sister, Marissa Cont. Dabrice was preceded in death by grandmothers, Lucille Hightower and Lucille Davis and great grandparents, Clarence and Ruthie Mae Turner. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September, 29, at Evangelistic Church of God In Christ, 440 South Benton Street. Rev Willie L. Collins will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial has been established in his memory.
