Cynthia Lynn Bradbury

Cynthia Lynn Bradbury, 66, of Freeport, passed away suddenly in her home on Thursday May 8, 2024. Cynthia was born September 6, 1957, in Macomb, Illinois, the daughter of Robert and Corrinne (Harbin) Crawford. Cynthia married John Bradbury October 9, 1976. She was a B.S.N. that worked as a contract nurse for 30 years. Cynthia was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Freeport. She loved flowers and working in her garden, traveling to nursing seminars, attending cooking classes, and being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving is her husband, John Bradbury of Freeport; father, Robert (Nancy Smith) Crawford of Freeport; son, Nicholas J. Bradbury of Freeport; two daughters, Karen (Jeffrey Sloan) Bradbury and Laura (Michael Wubbena) Bradbury both of Freeport; brother, Timothy Crawford of the Philippines; sister, Lisa Lind of Freeport; grandchildren, Kamryn and Kalli Bradbury, Collin and Kaylynn Heidenreich, and Lily Bradbury; also surviving is great grandson, Hayes Heidenreich.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her mother, and son, Shaun L. Bradbury.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday May 14, 2024 at Grace Episcopal Church. Fr. Brian Prall will officiate. Vitiation from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm Monday May 13, 2024 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home, Freeport. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. A memorial has been established in Cynthia’s memory.
