Cynthia L. Berry

Cynthia L. Berry, 60, of Freeport, died Tuesday November 1, 2016 at FHN Memorial Hospital. She was born February 3, 1956 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of James and Claudia (Rivers) Greene. Cynthia worked as a nurse in home care. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, taking care of her granddaughter and life in general. Cynthia is survived by her son Jason Greene of Bloomington, IL; her daughter Ashley C. C. M. Berry of Freeport, Il; two brothers James Greene of Bloomington, Il and Morris D. Greene of Chicago, IL; two sisters Jamoca Najee and Claudette Greene both of Freeport, IL; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and a brother. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday November 11, 2016 at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Charles Threadgill will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
