Curt A. Barrett

Curt A. Barrett, 60, of Freeport, passed away, Thursday February 16, 2023. Curt was born July 20, 1962, in Freeport, the son of Duane ‘Dave" and Patricia (Lee) Barrett. He was a graduate of Freeport High School and Abilene Christian University. Curt was a member of Freeport Church of Christ. Curt enjoyed golfing and following many sports, most of all, his beloved Minnesota Vikings. He worked for TDS Telecom for many years. Surviving is his mother, Pat Barrett of Freeport; and brother, David Barrett also of Freeport. Curt was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday February 24, 2023, at Freeport Church of Christ. Jeff White will officiate. Visitation 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Curt's memory.
