Craig D. Brinkman

Craig D. "Beaner" Brinkman, 52, of Rockford died unexpectedly Saturday in his home. He was born January 8, 1961 in Freeport, Illinois, the son of Lloyd and Irene ( Rauch) Brinkman. He married Linda Bornemeier on August 22, 1986 in Freeport. Craig enjoyed NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and Jr. He loved hanging out in his "Man cave," tinkering on lawn mowers and keeping his vehicles in pristine condition. Family and friends meant the world to him. Craig worked for thirty years at Rogers Ready Mix and Materials. Prior to that, he worked at Kenny Sheely Aggregates. Surviving are his wife, Linda of Rockford. Two sons, Richard (Jeanette) Bradt, Jr. of Freeport and Anthony (Denise) Bradt of Beloit, Wisconsin. His grandchildren; Kayla, Matthew, Tony, Kyle, Cody and Branden. His great-grandchildren, Bentley and Brailey. Also six sisters-in law and their families. He was preceded in death by his Parents, his beloved son, William, in laws, Henry and Gertie Bornemeier and his four legged friend Maicee. Everyone will miss his laughter and wit. A funeral service will be held Saturday, 10:00 A.M. at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home, 504 N. Walnut Ave. Freeport. Visitation will be Friday, 3:00-7:00 P.M. at Burke Tubbs.
