Constance "Connie" L. Schopf

Constance "Connie" L. Schopf the best mom and nonnie a child could ask for passed away on December 5, 2022, surrounded by all of her children. She was welcomed to her heavenly home by her soulmate Bob, who was waiting to embrace her. Born November 4, 1935, to Walter and Ruth Hansen she married Robert Schopf in 1968 and together they raised five children. Mom and Dad enjoyed taking train trips, two of their most memorable were to Edmonton Alberta Canada and taking their grandson to California. Connie was an amazing caregiver, having worked as a CNA for many years working in various nursing homes and providing in home care. If you knew Connie home and family meant everything to her, she was a strong loving mom and at the same time our best friend. She is survived by four children Deb, Robert, Senta (Mark)and Amy (Todd) six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Special thanks to her caregivers throughout the years, your love and compassion for our mom will never be forgotten. Connie was predeceased by her parents, one brother, one sister her daughter Rhonda, grandson Joshua and the love of her life Bob. Per her request there will be no services cremation right have been accorded Mom, We love you for a lifetime of sacrifice for our family and the love you have always shown us. Now you are home reunited with dad whom you have missed deeply for so many years. Mom and Dad, "If we could visit heaven even for a day, maybe for a moment the pain would go away. We'd put our arms around you and whisper words so true that living life without you is the hardest thing to do.
