Clifford J. Bollinger, 59, of Freeport, died Friday, February 10, 2017. Clifford was born August 21, 1957 in Freeport, the son of John and Alice (Lawson) Bollinger. He married Kim Keith on January 25, 1975. Clifford was a 1975 graduate of Freeport High School. He worked at Peck's Newsstand for many years. He enjoyed watching sports, especially the Chicago Bears. Clifford also enjoyed doing woodworking. Surviving are three daughters, Nicole Prinkey (Mike Hill) of Freeport, Michelle (Paul) Fisher of Machesney Park, Corrie (Shawn) Lipka of Dakota; one brother, Mike Bollinger of Little Rock, Arkansas; one sister, Marcia Bollinger of Freeport; six grandchildren, Dylan Prinkey, Brayden Hill, Logan Fisher, Lindsey Fisher, Hayden Lipka, and Brysen Lipka; also surviving are Angie Hartman (niece), Ben Hartman and Troy Bollinger (nephews), and other special nieces and nephews. Clifford was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial services and a time of remembrance will be held 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Monday February 13, 2017 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home.
