Christian J. Burns

Christian J. Burns, 44, of Janesville, Wisconsin, and formerly of Freeport, passed away, Sunday June 19, 2022, with his family surrounding him. Christian was born November 11, 1977, in Freeport, the son of Harve and Barbara (Wakeman) Burns. Christian married Karrie Lynch January 19, 2022 in Janesville. Christian was a 1996 graduate of Aquin High School and 1999 graduate of Wyoming Tech in Laramie, Wyoming. He work for SASid Insurance Development in Janesville. Christian enjoyed wood working in his free time and was skilled at tae kwon do, earning a 2nd degree black belt. Above all else Christian loved playing and spending time his boys. .Surviving is his wife, Karrie of Janesville; parents; Harve and Barbara Burns; two sons, Brayden and Bentley; stepson, Aiden Tiesman; stepdaughter, Natalie Tiesman; uncle, Roland "Wayne" Wakeman of Bellwood; aunt, Janet Cote of Rockford; also surviving are many cousins. Funeral services will be noon Saturday June 25, 2022 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home. Deacon Steve Pospischil will officiate. Visitation 10:00 a.m. until the time-of-service Saturday at Burke Tubbs.
