The daughter of Harold and Violet (Diehl) Hiteman. Cheri graduated from Forreston High School in 1969. After graduation, she attended Beauty School in Madison, WI. She had also served two years as President of the Freeport Area Association of Realtors. Cheri loved her family immensely. She spent many hours with her children and grandchildren attending all their activities and sporting events. When she wasn't doing that, you could find her antiquing or shopping for treasures. As she loved decorating her house for the holidays, to the extreme! Cheri was a founding member of The 505 Club. As a member, most Friday nights were spent enjoying cocktails and laughter at various locations in Freeport. In addition, she loved spending time in Florida with her last born, Josh. Most recently, Cheri and Dave spent many weekends enjoying car shows and traveling together. Cheri is survived by her four children: Heather (Tony) Collalti, Brandi (Marty) Sellers, Jason (Karen) Feldman, and Joshua John (Stephanie) Feldman. Her seven grandchildren: Kyle (Keely), Kane, Ty, and Gage Collalti; Caleb and Brooklyn Sellers; and Finley Feldman. She is also survived by her mother, Violet (Diehl) Frederick; her sister, Melodie (Jim) DeWall; her niece, Holli (Brian) Sanders and nephew, Brant (Colleen) Dambman and their children. Her "Ride or Die" sister, Jule Brooks and her first and last love, David Meile, and his children. Cheri was preceded in death by her father, Harold Hiteman; nephew, Scot DeWall; and husbands, Jack Feldman and Dan Frisbie. Cheri has touched many lives in her journey of life. She would want us to all remember, "Everything is going to be OK" and "Just Breathe". A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Burke Tubbs in Freeport, IL.
