Charlotte A. Mclinn

Charlotte Ann McLinn, 59, of Freeport, passed away, Saturday September 9, 2023 in her home, surrounded by her loving family. Charlotte was born February 27, 1964 in Salina, Kansas, the daughter of Duane E. and LaVonne (Veltman) McLinn. She worked as a chef at Liberty Village and was also employed at Honeywell. Charlotte enjoyed traveling, going to concerts, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends. Charlotte was always known as the person you could count on to be there when you needed someone.

Surviving include her daughter, Kaylie (Branden) Beverley, son Skyler Hutmacher, father Duane (Judy) McLinn; siblings, Barry (Marie) McLinn, Charlene McLinn, Marlene (Brad) Kleckler; nieces and nephews, Dustin (Kassie) Ewers, Devin McLinn, Amanda (Garrett) Homb, Kassidy (Dylan) Lydon, Jesse McLinn, Aly Kleckler, Griffin McLinn; grand-nieces Ruby, Nova, Raelyn, and grand-nephew Cooper Lydon. Charlotte is also survived by her dear friends, Lisa Kerr, Sharie Hoster, and Stacie Schnierl

Charlotte was preceded in death by her mother LaVonne McLinn, sister Dana Ewers, brother Christopher McLinn, grandparents Elliot and Mildred McLinn, Joseph and Ellen Veltman, and twin nieces Faith and Angelica Kleckler.

Funeral services be 10:30 am Saturday September 16, 2023 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home. Visitation Friday September 15, 2023 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Burke Tubbs. A memorial has been established in Charlotte's memory.
