Charles Joseph Migliore

Charles Joseph Migliore, 96, of Freeport, died Sunday, October 29, 2017 in his home. Charles was born October 19, 1921 in Lena, Illinois, the son of Jacomo and Mary (Perone) Migliore. He married Tina Valente October 29, 1945 in Rome. Joseph proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He enjoyed being in the outdoors, ballroom dancing, and meeting new people and visiting with them. He is survived by his wife, Tina Migliore of Freeport; two daughters, Deonna (Wayne) Migliore-Hollrah of Scottsdale, Arizona and Linda Migliore-Lestikow of Madison, Wisconsin; brother, Sam Migliore of Freeport; and his grandchildren. Charles was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. Private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for FHN Hospice in Mr. Migliore's memory.
