Catherine "Kitty" Senn

Catherine 'Kitty' Senn, 88, of Freeport, died Friday, March 2, 2012 at FHN Memorial Hospital. She was born December 28, 1923 in Wauchula, Florida the daughter of John Treavor and Ruby Mae (Adams) Carlton. On December 18, 1943 Kitty married DeForest L. Senn in Moultrie, Georgia. He died on March 25, 1999. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Freeport. She worked as a sales clerk at J.C. Penny'™s for over 25 years. She was a member of J.O.Y. Singers and was a member of The Ambassador Sunday School Class. Survivors include son; Forrest (Liz) Senn of Baileyville, two daughters Delores (Steven) Kopp of Evergreen, Colorado and Dianne (Michael) Coats of Forreston, sister; Eulalah Gardner of Camilla, Georgia; grandchildren Debra (Shay Patterson) Bramer of Mount Vernon, AL, Jim (Michelle) Coats of German Valley, IL, John (Megan) Coats of Macoutah, IL, David Coats of McGuire AFB, NJ, Kristopher (Rachel) Knudson of Raleigh, NC, Kathryn Michelle (William) Ludlam of Wilson, NC, and Lisa Michelle (Jason) Roberts of Knoxville, TN; and also 16 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers and seven sisters. Funeral Services will be 10:30 A.M. Wednesday March 7, 2012 at First Baptist Church. Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday March 6, 2012 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport. There will also be a visitation Wednesday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service.
