Catherine A. Doyle

Catherine A. Doyle, 72, of Winslow passed away on December 11, 2021 at FHN Memorial Hospital. She was born January 21, 1949 in Freeport, IL the daughter of Donald and Arcelia (Smith) Ranz. She married James L. Doyle August 26, 1967. Catherine loved all types of games, whether she was playing them herself or watching them on TV. She enjoyed canning and preserving foods and going to car shows with Jim whenever they could. Catherine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Catherine is survived by her husband Jim of 54 years; children Thomas (Yvonne) Doyle of Hillsboro, WI, Terry (Donna) Doyle of Fayetteville, NC, and Sue (James) Janssen, of Orangeville, IL; grandchildren Jamie, Elijah, Megan, Morgan, Hannah, Ryan, and Faith; great-grandchildren Alice, Teagan, and Athena; brothers Donald Ranz and Donald Gouker; and sister Carol Hurnish. She was preceded in death by her parents. Per Catherine's wishes no services will be held at this time.
