Bradley “Brad” A. Kuhlemeyer, 52, of Shannon, IL, passed away Thursday August 1, 2024. He was born March 22, 1972 in Freeport, IL to Lyle and Susan “Sue” (Davis) Kuhlemeyer. Brad married Theresa King on August 20, 1993 in North Carolina. He served in the United States Marine Corps, enlisting after high school in May of 1991 and honorably discharged in 1995. Brad was known as a handyman and he enjoyed woodworking, beekeeping, laser engraving cups, paintballing, ghost hunting, prepping for all causes, and making TikTok and YouTube videos with his family. He was an avid fan of the Chicago White Sox and Denver Broncos. Faith and family were very important to Brad and he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Theresa; two children Kaci (Rashad Moore) and Caleb (Moniqua Camacho); mother Sue; two sisters Lesli (Len) Saunders and Lori Kuhlemeyer; father-in-law and step-mother-in-law DuWayne and Donna King; two brother-in-law’s Wayne (Tammy) King and Travis (Tiffany) King; seven grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Preceding Brad in death is his father, son Jacob, nephew Jeremy, and niece Lexi, and aunts.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday August 9, 2024 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home with Pastor Rachel Smith officiating. A visitation will be held from noon until the time of service. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. A memorial has been established in Brad’s memory.
