Beulah Mae Klaus

Beulah Mae Klaus, 82, of Freeport, died Saturday January 4, 2020 at FHN Memorial Hospital. She was born December 20, 1937 in Woodbine, IL, the daughter of Carl and Lois (Winter) Brudi. Beulah married Paul Gene Klaus April 20, 1958 in Stockton, IL; he died April 4, 2017. She worked at Kelly-Springfield for 37 years, she also worked at Burgess Battery, Micro Switch and Newell CO. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and G.E.M.S. Beulah is survived by her daughter, Melinda Joy (Oscar) Rhea of Abington, VA; two brothers, Armin (Jolene) Brudi of Rock Grove, IL and George (Mary) Brudi of Marinette, WI; and sister, Carol (Wayne) Westaby of Lena, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Paul Gene Klaus II, and sister Evelyn Foster. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday January 9, 2020 at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Rev. Mark Winkelman and Rev. Dr. Willis R. Schwichtenberg will officiate. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
