Betty Mae Robinson, 94, formally of the Chicago area, California, and Florida died Tuesday, September 22, at Hawthorne Inn of Freeport. She was born November 14, 1920 in Chicago, the daughter of Frank and Lillian (Seaberg) Peterson. She had one sister Lorraine (Ed) Johnson, two nieces, Barbara L Johnson and Donna (John) Pyfer, one great-niece Leanne (David) Weber, one great-nephew James (Janice) Pyfer, two great-great nieces Delaney Weber and Izabella Pyfer and two great-great-nephews Bryce Weber and Jackson Pyfer. Betty was a member of North Shore Baptist Church in Chicago where she met her husband, Stewart Robinson. After graduating from Wright Junior College and working at the American College of Surgeons in Chicago in the accounting department, Betty married Stewart Robinson on February 2, 1946. Betty enjoyed her family, friends, traveling, playing cards, reading, bird watching, word searches, and game shows. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister and her niece Barbara. Family services will be held. Arrangements are being completed by Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home Freeport, Illinois.
