Bertram Marshall

Bertram Marshall, 75, of Lanark, IL passed away Saturday May 28, 2022 at Meriter Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. He was born on May 10, 1947 in Yonkers, New York and was adopted as an infant by Charles and Emily Marshall where he lived with his sister Linda. On March 22, 1981 Bert married his wife Becky. They gave themselves their own housewarming gift, their daughter Stephanie, after purchasing a second home in Lake Carroll. Bert was a proud Vietnam Veteran who served his time in the Navy. He was a golf enthusiast (both playing with his buddies on the weekends and competing in tournaments where he received numerous trophies. He went to PGA tours at Cog Hill with his daughter, Stephanie, and encouraged her while she chased after players to get their autograph. He was an avid board and card game player, especially Hearts, where he ran it with such ease. Bert loved gardening and his indoor plants. He loved cats and watching various birds throughout the yard. Bert was a handy and creative person who could fix pretty much anything he put his mind to. He fought hard throughout May 2022 battling various medical conditions but is now pain free and is playing endless golf up in Heaven. He will be missed by his many friends, but especially by his wife and daughter. There will be no services per Bert's wishes.
