Barry L. Heine

Barry L. Heine, 65, of Freeport, died Saturday June 6, 2020 in his home surrounded by his family. Barry was born March 18, 1955 in Freeport, the son of Gerald and Darlene (Soliday) Heine. Barry married Dianne Bardell May 26, 2001. Barry worked at Heine Plastics for over 20 years. He enjoyed fishing, playing Texas Hold'em at game nights and gambling in Dubuque .He also enjoyed spending time with all his beloved family, but Sunday's were reserved for football and cheering on the Chicago Bears! Surviving are his mother, Darlene Heine; wife, Dianne Heine of Freeport; son, Brian (Jill) Whitehead of Freeport; daughter, Amy (Levi) McClure of Davis; sister, LuAnn (Larry) Handfelt of Warren; grandchildren, Brian Jr., McKenzie, Autumn, Kayla, Emilie, Xavier, Jordan, Willie, Kia, Summer, Kayde, Tyson, Allie, Zander, and Teigan; and great-grandchildren, Lauren, Riley, Athena, Roselina, Raelyn, Aydriel, and Gwen; numerous nieces; nephews; cousins; and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald; brother, Brian Heine; and sister, Cherie Heine. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday June 12, 2020 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home. Rev. Bill Blomberg will officiate. Visitation 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Thursday June 11, 2020 also at Burke Tubbs. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
