Barbara Ann Thiede

Barbara Ann Thiede, a resident of Waverly Place of Stockton, Stockton, IL died on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at the Freeport HealthNetwork Hosptial. She was 59 years old. Barbara was born February 7, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky to Water C. and Derry (Arnold) Thiede. At the age of 3, a tumor was discovered on her brain. Due to surgery to remove the tumor, Barbara was left mentally challenged. However, she was able to attend school and graduate from Conant High School, Hoffman Estates. IL. Barbara spend most of her adult like in care facilities. She did work for a time at some fast-food restaurants. Barbara loved to put puzzles together and knit. Her grandmother, Anna Thiede, taught her to knit. She is survived by her father, Walter C. Thiede, Webster, WI and Lake Havasu City, AZ. She is also survived by her sister, Kelly Condon (Charles), Hanover Park, IL, brother, Walter G. Thiede, Schaumberg, IL, brother, David Thiede and sister, Roberta. Nieces and nephews are as follows: Charles Condon Jr. (Tammy), Charles Condon III and Andrew, Huntley, IL. Jessica Condon, Hanover Park, II. Sheila Bednarke (T.J.), children, Brooke, Paige and Chayse, Bartlett, IL. Craig Consoer, children, Bridgette, Kaylee, Courtney, Streamwood, IL. Walter G. Thiede Jr., Shaumberg, IL. Nicole Thiede, Schaumberg, IL. She is preceded in death by her adopted mother, Louise Thiede and sister, Donna Consoer. Barbara will be cremated and her cremains to be entrusted to her family. The family will have a private memorial. Arrangements are being handled by Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport, IL.
