Arnold C. Schramm

Arnold C. Schramm, 80, of Freeport, died Sunday, December 16, 2018 in Manor Court. Arnold was born March 12, 1938 in Stephenson County, the son of LeRoy and Gladys (Deemer) Schramm. He married Alta Wachter on June 4, 1961 in Stockton, Illinois. Arnold was a member of First Lutheran Church. He enjoyed hunting, gardening and following the Chicago Cubs. He was self employed by Farm Services for 34 years. Surviving is his wife, Alta Schramm of Freeport; daughter, Angie (Bill) Patterson of Nekoosa, Wisconsin; daughter-in-law, Brenda Schramm of Stillman Valley; and five grandchildren, Grant Patterson, Scott Patterson, Brent Patterson, Amanda Schramm and Justin Schramm. Arnold was preceded in death by his parents, son, Alan; brothers, Eugene and RoyLee. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday December 22, 2018 at First Lutheran Church. Pastor Keith Johnson and Pastor Bill Blomberg will officiate. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at First Lutheran. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
