Arlene Offill

Arlene Offill, 96, of Freeport, died Tuesday June 4, 2024 at Ascension Living Saint Joseph Village. Arlene was born May 18, 1928 in Polo, IL.

She married Robert A. Offill on March 28, 1948 in Oregon, Illinois. Mr. Offill passed away July 6, 2007.

Survivors include eight sons, Michael of Mountain Grove, Mass., Jimmy Sr. of Mount Carroll, Richard of Freeport, Steven of Freeport Donald of Lanark, Timothy of Freeport, Jeff (Christine) of Freeport and Allen (Sandra) of Walle, Miss.; two daughters, Viola (Gene) Brown of Amboy, Ill. and Susan Allen of Savanna; also many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her son, Greg.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday June 8, 2024 at Gospel Outreach Church (211 West Spring Street, Freeport, IL). Pastor Steve Gearing will officiate. Visitation will be 9:30 am until the time of service at the church. Burial will be at Spring Valley Cemetery. A memorial has been established in her memory.
