Anthony A. Jacobs

Anthony A. Jacobs, 65, of Freeport, passed away Wednesday March 17, 2021 at FHN Memorial Hospital. Anthony was born January 23, 1956 in Freeport, the son of Russell and Elizabeth (Kirchberg) Jacobs. Anthony married Dianna Baumgartner June 7, 2002. Dianna died September 15, 2017. Anthony worked as a tool and die maker for many years. Mr. Jacobs was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Anthony enjoyed being in the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and collecting guns. Surviving is his mother Elizabeth Jacobs of Davis; two daughters, Angel Jacobs of Freeport, and Whitney Jacobs of Phoenix, AZ.; two brothers, Gary (Joan) Jacobs of Pecatonica and Timothy (LuAnn) of Orangeville; three sisters, Jill Jacobs of Davis, Leigh Ann Fleming of Freeport, and Susie Jacobs of Freeport; two grandchildren, Keira and Hiveley; and daughter, Melissa. Mr. Jacobs was preceded in death by his father and wife. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial services will be at a later date. A memorial has been established in his memory.
