Annie M. Graves

Annie M. Graves, 93, of Freeport, passed away peacefully, Sunday April 18, 2021 at FHN Memorial Hospital. Annie was born October 7, 1927 in Avella, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Josef and Anna (Feciuch) Hutnick. Annie married Eugene Graves October 17, 1953 in Akron, Ohio. Mr. Graves passed away January 30, 2009. Mrs. Graves worked at Kentucky Fried Chicken for many years. Annie took great pleasure in the simple things in life. She enjoyed reading books, and spending time outside. Surviving are her two sons, David (Janet) Graves and Dean (Priscilla Hartman) Graves both of Freeport; three grandchildren Matthew (Rachael) Graves, John Graves, and Collin (Amy) Graves; four great-grandchildren, Keegan Graves, Cora Graves, Logan Graves, and Cam Graves. Also surviving is her sister, Dorothy Carson. Annie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, Sam, Joe, John and Nick; and one sister, Stella. Private family Services will be held Thursday April 22, 2021 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home. Pastor Gavin Brandt will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
