Annette "Squakey" Ellis-Holloway

Annette "Squakey" Ellis Holloway, 65, of Freeport, departed this Earth on Monday June 22, 2015. Annette was born on September 9th, 1949, daughter of Connie Ellis and Louiville Cain. She found enjoyment in many activities from gardening to travel and watching basketball. She was preceded in death by her father, grandparent, stepfather, American Shipp; and brother, David Pempliton. She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Connie B. Shipp; loving husband, Eddie Holloway; daughter, Teresa (Ralph) Alvoid of Freeport; stepdaughters, Lavette (Dewight) Ellis, Brenda Holloway, Karen (Sam) Danko all of St. Louis, Missouri. Also surviving are six grandchildren, one great-grandson, and goddaughter, Myeisha Brown of Memphis, Tennessee. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday July 2, 2015 at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Freeport. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Church.
