Anna Mary Millerschone

Anna Mary Millerschone, 83, of Freeport, died Monday December 28, 2020 at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. She was born July 13, 1937 in Freeport, IL, the daughter of Karl and Mary (Beke) Puskas. Anna married Norman H. Millerschone in November of 1957; he died March 26, 1976. Anna graduated from Aquin High School and Lena High School. She worked and retired from Honeywell. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She dedicated her life to her family, and was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Anna is survived by her two sons, Norman (Cat) Millerschone of Ft. Calhoun, NE and Gregory (Marci) Millerschone of Pearl City, IL; two daughters, Debra Metz of Freeport, IL and Teresa (Brent) Buky of Mt. Washington, KY; brother, John (Penny) Puskas of Cyprus, CA; sister-in-law Concetta Puskas of Freeport, IL; granddaughter, Jackie (Brandon) Tallman; and three great-grandsons, Talon, Decon, and Easton Tallman. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Karl Puskas. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday January 5, 2021 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport. A walk through visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service. Facemasks and social distancing will be required. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
