Anna Marie Schoeny

Anna Marie Schoeny, 79, of Polo, died Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Polo Rehab and Healthcare Center. Anna Marie was born on February 18, 1936, in Lena, the daughter of Charles and Lavina (Lobdell) Schoeny. Anna Marie received a degree in Home Economics from Western Illinois University. She taught Home Economics and spent many years working at Micro Switch. Surviving are her brother, Gerald (Jane) Schoeny of Shannon; sister, Sylvia Stevenson of Medford, Oregon; and many nieces and nephews. Anna Marie was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Hugh Schoeny; and four sisters, Doris Richards, Rosemary Shockey, Betty Mills, and JoAnn Schoeny. Private family services will be held Tuesday November 24, 2015 at the Chapel of Peace in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Rev. Glenn Scott will officiate.
