Anna M. Heilman, 48 of German Valley, died on Friday, July 06, 2012 in her home. Anna Marie was born 11/22/63 in Ann Arbor Michigan. She is the daughter of Jezeps and Bronislava (Eisaks) Krusts. She attended Haisley Elementary School. Slauson Junior High and Pioneer High School all in Ann Arbor. One of her fondest childhood memories was playing games such as kick the can, kick ball, walnut fights and playing in the ravine all at Mayfield Park not far from her childhood home. Anna was married to Joel Heilman on May 14th, 1988 at the Belleview Methodist Church in Belleview Florida. As a teen she was employed at Dairy Queen and Baskin Robbins. After moving to Florida in the late 70'™s she took employment with Action Packets, Inc. She started as a warehouse worker and worked her way into the office. She later was promoted to accounts receivable manager and worked up until the time of her engagement to Joel. She was a stay at home mother raising their two daughters Chelsea and Brianne. She also had a heart for the elderly and spent much of her time caring for elderly people in their homes. She enjoyed arts and crafts. She had a home business for a number of years called 'Yard Cards by Anna' where she would set up large signs in people'™s lawns to celebrate birthdays, births, anniversaries, etc. Anna and Joel also had a decorating business called 'Visual Expressions' where they would create balloon art to decorate weddings, receptions, parties and corporate events. She was also a member of a decorating chapter in Chicago. She really enjoyed entertaining and having friends and family to her home. There was always an overabundance of great food at these gatherings. Anna may be best remembered as the 'Queen of pranks and practical jokes' . There was always plenty of laughter and fun on these occasions. Anna always enjoyed just spending time with her family and friends and loved her pets. She is a member of Crossroads Community Church where she volunteered as a youth group leader and also spent time on a praise and worship team. Anna will be well remembered for all the encouraging words and phrases she would share with her friends on popular social networking sites and emails. Survived by husband Joel Heilman, daughters Chelsea Heilman and Brianne Heilman, adopted mother Ruth (Bill) Jewell of German Valley Illinois, brothers John (Pam) Krusts of Ann Arbor Michigan and Peter Krusts of Ocala Florida, two sisters Emily Krusts of Ypsilanti Michigan and Karen Kirk of Stockbridge Michigan, mother-in-law Betty Heilman of Freeport Illinois, brothers-in-law Greg (Jeannie) Heilman of Glen View Heights Texas and John (Kim) Heilman of Davis Illinois, sisters-in-law Cindy (Craig) Huber of Belleview Florida, Jackie (Karl) Stocker of Cedarville Illinois, Julie (Keith) Boyer of Commerce City Colorado, Lisa (Scott) Hanson of Winslow Illinois. Preceded in death by her mother Bronislava (Eisaks) Krusts, father Jezeps Krusts, Brother Robert Krusts, father-in-law John Heilman Sr., and brother-in-law Jeff Heilman. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Crossroads Community Church 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3-7 p.m. at Crossroads Community Church.
