Anita Jean Lausch

Anita "Jean" Lausch, 83, of Cedarville died Thursday at Provena Saint Joseph Center. She was born July 19, 1930 at Buena Vista, Illinois, the daughter of Charles and Venice (Williams) Hess. Jean married Gordon "Pete" Lausch on February 20, 1948 in Cedarville, Illinois. He died April 28, 2011. Jean was a 1948 graduate of Lanark High School. She . worked for 20 years at Crum and Forester Insurance Company. Jean enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed following the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Cubs. Surviving are her son; Michael Lausch of Freeport. Three grandchildren; Michelle, Marc and Keith Lausch. Five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Her brother, Don Hess of Freeport Her sister, Linda Barnett of Kentucky. . Two brothers in laws; Wayne (Shirley) Lausch of Monroe and Jack(Joan) Lausch of Davis. Her sister in law, Anita (Howard) Wolf of Freeport. Also, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and two sisters. A funeral service for Mrs. Lausch will be Monday, 1:00 P.M. at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home, Freeport. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at Burke-Tubbs.
