Amy Francine Stabenow

It is with great sorrow we announce Amy Francine Stabenow died suddenly and tragically on March 8th, 2020, in Denver Colorado after being struck by a vehicle. Amy was born in Freeport, IL May 26, 1974. She was proceeded in death by her sister Mary Beth Ackerman, her Uncle Russ Borrelli and Cousin Roger Ackerman both sets of grandparents. She is survived by her parents, Donald and Donna Ackerman of Ft. Myers, Fl and Sauk City, WI. Her children Anaken Crites of Colorado Springs and Rowan (Gabe) Crites of Denver, sister Allison (Stabenow) Milan of Carrboro, NC, brother, Daniel Ackerman of Middleton, WI; nephew, Dylan Ackerman of Madison, WI. Amy was a born caregiver and enjoyed reading, theater and especially loved her children. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; Love leaves a memory no one can steal. May she rest easy in heaven.
